Hi my name is Jake!

In high school I took some photography classes and really enjoyed it. In class we were using film (yes black and white) and developing the film and photos, we got to play with different exposure techniques. Of course now one hears the word film and they don’t know what your talking about. I then ventured to New Mexico and during grad school I began to take photos of lightning and the night sky on my free time.

On this site is just a few of my photos I have taken over the last few years. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did taking them.
